Fuel Pump Access HoleAs we all know the fuel pump of the Td5 sits in the tank and the only possibility to get to it is to lower the tank - which is not really what you want to do in the middle of nowhere! Hence I put an access hole in the floor of my Defender. Follow the measurements in the below .pdf and you can have the same: Make sure you use at least 3mm aluminium otherwise you weaken the floor. Please lower the tank a little bit, before you use the jigsaw! |
